Create Your Own Discussions
CTN will begin by taking apart new legislation coming before Congress. We will provide the legislation in original form, in it's entirety. Then we will break it down into "english" and take away the confusion.
We will give you an idea of the cost, and list the associated legislation "pork" that is attached to the bill.
We will also have a pro and con explanation of the legislation. We want to do this without the exaggerated arguments usually heard on Radio and Television. CTN will not take sides. CTN has "NO OPINION". CTN wants you to choose based on TRUTH.
These discussions will include a means for you to vote. You may change your mind as an issue develops or Legislation is modified, and if you are a registered member [FREE] your vote is DYNAMIC. [patent pending] ... this means we tally votes, and if you change it doesn't add a vote, it changes your vote. IF we have 10 yeas and 10 nays and you change your vote to yeah we now have 11 yeas and 9 nays. Real Time Dynamic Voting, where we can track the tidal change and we keep your Representatives informed. Not only about the current vote but the change in vote, the trend of the change.
Your vote can be anonymous or if you choose to send your vote and comment if you choose directly to your representative, your vote is voiced by you. [Senators and Congressman only accept communication from identified citizens, probably to prevent SPAMMING.]
We will give your representatives accurate and detail information on how you and the public feels on each issue.
We will give representatives the opportunity to express their feelings. Explain their vote. Why they voted against the public's choice, or why the vote with.
We will alert you to their votes and allow you to instantly comment. This lets our representative get feedback from us. Let's them know we are watching, we will keep track of how they voted, how the public voted at the time of the vote and currently...in other words... did our representatives for see a purpose to vote against popular opinion and over time opinion changed to support their vote. (the opposite can also be true).
